Welcome to the Scarborough Symphony Orchestra – one of the UK’s premier amateur orchestras.

The orchestra returns with its first public performance of a new season on Saturday, November 27 at 7.15pm at the spacious and welcoming Methodist Central Hall, Queen Street, Scarborough, YO11 1HQ.

After an 18-month enforced break the orchestra is back in rehearsals for the first of four concerts this season. Please bring your friends and come along to enjoy live music once more and show your support for the orchestra. And if you haven’t heard us before, why not give it a try?

The orchestra is excited to be performing again, beginning with Rimsky-Korsakov’s hauntingly beautiful Scheherazade, Dvořák’s glorious Cello Concerto and a world premiere of Romberg’s Symphony of Saints for soprano and orchestra.

Tickets are available online via our ticket page and can be purchased on the night at the door by cash or credit card.

Further details of all concerts can be viewed on our Current Season web page or by downloading the season brochure below.

Thank you for your continued support.
