Could you sponsor us?

It is a significant financial challenge putting on a concert. While we try to hire music from libraries, some of the 20th century compositions are often not available and can only be hired from publishers which is frequently very costly. Added to this are any soloist’s fees, the conductor’s honorarium the hire cost of instruments e.g. piano and percussion instruments that we don’t own, and of course our venue hire.

While our members pay annual subscriptions and do not receive fees, we do pay small fees for extra players who are needed so that the orchestra can play the wonderful range of works that are such a highlight of our orchestral season.

Sponsorship is extremely important to us and we welcome any offer of help in order to support our progress in developing the orchestra.

In return for sponsorship, we are able to offer complimentary tickets to concerts, acknowledgements and publicity in our concert programmes, and on our posters.   We are also happy to consider other ways in which you think we might be able to help you.

We are grateful for donations of any size!  You could sponsor modest elements of concerts or you might prefer to sponsor a soloist, the hire of music for a particular work, the conductor, extra players or indeed the whole concert.
